Salmantón

Salmantón is a fictitious alternative singer. Her debut album, “Perseverance does not equal Worthiness”, is a breakup album demanding attention. This project was an assignment given in our Design Exploration class. The prompt was to create an album cover and a digital aspect based off a given word (artist’s name) and phrase (album name). I decided to build my album out a little more, creating an inside cover, posters, and tour information. I also created a physical record sleeve and a cd case. I wanted this album to be photography based, so I photographed the images used for the album. I also decided to use a spray painted bunny and the symbol for my artist. This way I wouldn’t always have to use her name, I could use her symbol.
